From finished work to money in the bank.
Four steps, no leaps of faith. Here is exactly what happens to your files and your payment — mechanism by mechanism.
Step 01
Upload your work
One file or a whole project — up to 50 files, 20 GB each.
The moment a file arrives it is stored in private object storage — there is no public URL to guess, ever. RELEASE then generates a watermarked preview (video, photo or audio) and records the original's SHA-256 fingerprint. Your original is never touched again: what you uploaded is what will be delivered, byte for byte.
Drag files onto the homepage or the create page — the filmstrip shows each file uploading, processing, ready.
Step 02
Configure your page
Title, price, currency, language — the terms of this deal.
One price for the whole project. Six currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD) and three client-page languages (English, French, Spanish), set per link — your next client can get different ones. Add a personal message, pick your page theme, choose the cover.
Your payment page is yours: nine themes, your banner, your avatar — a premium page, not a generic checkout.
Step 03
Share one link
WhatsApp, iMessage, email, Slack — wherever your client already is.
Your client needs no account and no app. They open the link, see the watermarked previews of the actual work — every file of the project, each bathing in its own light — and the price. The link preview they receive carries your name and your project's title.
Until payment, originals stay locked. The preview is the promise; the lock is the guarantee.
Step 04
Get paid — delivery is automatic
Stripe processes the payment; RELEASE releases the originals.
The instant payment is confirmed, the page unlocks: your client downloads every original file — full quality, no watermark, checksums verifiable — and their invoice is generated automatically. You see the whole story in your Release Ledger: viewed, paid, unlocked, downloaded.
Payouts go to your bank through Stripe Connect — RELEASE never sees or stores your banking details.
Under the hood
Why nothing leaks and nothing is lost.
Private by architecture
Originals live in private storage. Every media access uses short-lived signed tokens, scoped to one file and one purpose — a preview token can never fetch an original.
Byte-for-byte delivery
SHA-256 checksums are recorded at upload and travel with the file. The original your client downloads is provably the original you uploaded.
Payment before release
The unlock is not a promise — it's a mechanism. Download authorization exists only after Stripe confirms the payment. No confirmed payment, no original.
A ledger, not a black box
Every state transition is recorded as it happens — uploaded, secured, viewed, paid, delivered. You watch your deal progress in real time.
